Toeseph
Toeseph’s New Year’s Wish!
Handsome Toeseph ("Toe" for short, because he has one white toe), REALLY needs a home. Through no fault of his own, Toe was surrendered on Christmas Day 2019, and has been in boarding ever since. He’s only 2 years old and is a very good dog; he just needs someone who will be patient and kind to him. He hasn't spent much time in a home and will need help working on important life skills. Toe is a Pit mix who weighs 68 pounds, is neutered, and up-to-date on shots. He's a very happy and playful dog and also very cuddly once he gets to know you. Toe is nervous about meeting new people, and can be startled by things he's never experienced before, but once he warms up to a person, he’s a real sweetheart. Toe is very trainable, already knowing how to sit, lay down, and shake. He loves to play ball, chew up sticks, go for car rides, walks, have adventures, roll on things, and give slobbery kisses! Since he’s a big guy who's still learning social skills, we recommend a home with no children, or older, dog-savvy children. Toe should probably be an only dog because he’s dog selective, which means he likes some dogs but not others, and will need someone who will work with him on good walking manners. He has not been around cats.
This sweet guy has SO much potential and will make someone a very loyal companion. Can you open your heart and home to this wonderful dog? Let’s get Toe a real home for the new year!
