Gentlemen, start your engines! Born in December of 2013, this Diesel is a 109 lb. American Bulldog who bonds most quickly with men. He has been friendly to everyone he’s met, although he hasn’t spent any time around children. Diesel is a submissive dog who has gotten along with goats and barn cats. He may be afraid of the dark and there is an 8 lb. white dog who Diesel runs from if he is chased. He has jumped a 3 ft. gate, so fencing should be taller. He knows some of his basic commands and is willing to learn more if it allows him to spend more time with his human. He is house trained and crate trained and he loves to go for rides in the car. His most recent veterinary check up said he was in excellent health and he has received a ProHeart injection as a heartworm preventative. Diesel likes to chase a ball and if given the opportunity, will destroy soft toys.
He isn’t protective of his food or toys, but is fed away from other dogs. He has very good manners around strangers and he walks well on a leash. If you’re looking for a large dog to keep you company and you have the space and time to keep him happy, we’d love to introduce you to Diesel. This handsome dog will thrive in the right home and we hope to find it for him soon.
