This handsome boy is named Otis, and he’s a neutered, 3-year-old sheepadoodle (standard poodle mixed with Old English sheepdog). At 85 pounds, he’ll satisfy your need for a bigger breed without overwhelming your house with fur, because he does not shed. So put your vacuum away and get ready to play, because Otis wants to be your new best friend.

He's a sweet and loving dog who enjoys cuddling in bed with his people, but we are recommending a home with adults (and we’d consider kids if they are older). Otis gets along with other large dogs, however, we’re really not sure about smaller dogs or cats due to lack of exposure. And when it comes to meal time, Otis is always going to request a table for one. It’s really his only quirk. He prefers to eat alone without interruptions.

Otis is currently on a low-dose of anxiety medication, but he may not need to be if we can find the right situation for him. He’s been professionally trained, settles well and walks on a loose leash. Otis is fully house trained, but does not use a crate. You’ll also save a bundle on buying toys because he’s really not into them, but he will be into you and whoever comes to the door. Strangers are just friends he has yet to meet.
